Master Gardener Information Kiosk and Other Events
Throughout the year and around the state, URI Master Gardeners visit a number of communities to answer gardening questions, perform soil pH testing, and give presentations. View a schedule of events here.

If you can't attend any of these events but you have a pressing gardening question you can call the toll-free (in RI only) URI Master Gardener Hotline at 1-800-448-1011 (Open March 1 – October 30, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Monday –Thursday) where trained Master Gardeners are eager to help you with any gardening question. CUMBERLAND MONASTERY
At the Cumberland Monastery, URI Master Gardeners and local residents jointly care for a butterfly garden and a water garden. Once a month, during the season, there is a group workday (get a schedule here). Also, a series of lectures are offered every year from March to May at the Cumberland Library which is located on the Monastery grounds.



URI MALLON OUTREACH CENTER AT ROGER WILLIAMS PARK BOTANICAL CENTER
URI Mallon Outreach Center at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center offers gardening classes and special events from spring through fall. To learn more visit their website.



BLITHEWOLD MANSION

RHODE ISLAND WILD PLANT SOCIETY
The Rhode Island Wild Plant Society welcomes people of all botanical abilities to their events. Join them for a series of spring-summer walks and lectures to enjoy and learn about wild plants. OCEAN STATE ORCHID SOCIETY
The Ocean State Orchid Society's purpose is to create, promote, develop and preserve a group dedicated to the education and enjoyment of all aspects of orchids. They hold monthly meetings on the second Saturday of every month. Visit their calendar to see a listing of activites each month.
